WOMEN, WINE, WORLDWIDE
The Women in Wine Expo has been established as a truly gender related platform. Our main purpose is to promote women in the wine industry, improve wine education for women and create awareness about gender equality throughout the industry. Continuing the success of the inaugural Women in Wine Expo in 2019 in Belgium and the Netherlands, followed by the world-class edition in 2022 in Georgia (the country, not the state), and in 2023 in the United Kingdom, we continue to shine the spotlight on the elegance and diversity of women winemakers from all over the world.
OUR MISSION
We care about wine and we want to add new flavor to its cultural history. We want something that is inspiring and majestic, yet reachable. We want a conference where the talks are fresh and you have not seen most of the speakers before. We want a place where we talk about all aspects in this industry, in an easy-to-understand way for a beginner, but where experienced women wine professionals still have lots to learn. That’s in short the Women in Wine Expo. We spend most of our time to help empower women in their goals and we hope you join us and celebrate that it’s you that makes this industry valuable.
Women in wine expo
In 2024, from 8 to 10 May, we will gather together in one of the most beautiful wine countries in the world: Portugal! Women wine professionals from East to West and from North to South will join us, share their stories and exchange best practices so we can learn from each other. We are still working on the program but the kick-off will be in Vila Nova de Gaia. The next day is a discovery day, with meaningful learning experinces, learn all about Portuguese wines and all that comes with winemaking. As you are used from us, we will prepare a superb conference, this time at WOW (World of Wine), one of the most unique wine hubs in the world. The Women In Wine Expo will be closed with a tasting on Friday where Portuguese wine producers (and wine producers from other countries!), dignitaries and country representatives will join us.

The Women in Wine Expo is a global women’s wine network, building a community of women entrepreneurs who want to expand their knowledge and build their international business.
The 3-day event is created to inspire and empower women in wine, anticipating to new trends and developments, authentic wines, different countries, new names and impressions!
The perks of the Women in Wine Expo are diversity, discovery of new tastes and the opportunity to learn more about the wine and meeting women winemakers.
In partnership with our main sponsor Taylor’s Port, we will bring like-minded women together to enjoy an event of business, education, networking, fun and sisterhood.
