Magic tokaj!

From May 7 to 9, 2025, in the stunning wine region Tokaj women wine professionals from across the globe gathered to share their stories and exchange best practices. The WIWE kicked off with a Meet & Greet on Wednesday, May 7. The following day (Thursday, May 8), attendees enjoyed vineyard tours, masterclasses, wine tastings at the venue and in other wineries in Tokaj. On the third day (Friday, May 9), we organized masterclasses on biodynamic winemaking, Hungarian red wines, we had tastings, keynote sessions, and panel discussions followed by a gala dinner. We finished the Women in Wine Expo with a tasting featuring wines from Central and Eastern Europe.

The Women in Wine Expo is dedicated to promoting gender equality within the wine industry. Our primary mission is to elevate women in the wine sector, enhance wine education for women, and raise awareness about gender equality throughout the industry.. Following the success of the inaugural Women in Wine Expo in 2019 in Belgium and the Netherlands, and subsequent world-class editions in Georgia in 2022, the United Kingdom in 2023, and Portugal in 2024, we continue to spotlight the elegance and diversity of women winemakers from around the world.

We are passionate about wine and aim to deepen its cultural history. Our goal is to create an inspiring and accessible conference where fresh ideas are shared, featuring many speakers who are new to our audience. This provides a unique opportunity for experienced professionals to learn from new perspectives. We strive to discuss all aspects of the wine industry in a way that is easily understandable for beginners while also offering valuable insights for seasoned professionals. The Women in Wine Expo, the premier international event for women in wine, celebrated its fifth edition in mesmerizing Tokaj, Hungary. This milestone showcased the global impact of women in wine. By attending, women took their chance to network with women from around the world, learnt from expert speakers, and discovered new wines and trends.
