(National Coordinator Women in Wine NZ)

The 2023 Women in Wine Expo was a fantastic experience.  It was educational, so inspiring and very powerful to bring so many women in wine from around the world together.  The positive energy and willingness to share and support was amazing.  I left on a real high, with new ideas and new friends.   I certainly hope to attend again next year.”

If you are searching for a dynamic, innovative and inspiring community of women in the wine industry, you need to come to the Women in Wine Expo! The 2023 edition was out of the norm, with unique sessions full of information, awareness raising, and the opportunity to connect with powerful women who inspired me with their open dialogue on the way they tackle challenges in the world of wine. I am thrilled to keep building a strong relationship with the WIWE community. I saw that all women had something valuable to bring to the group, and when we share insights and knowledge, nothing can stop us!

"This was my second WIWE and what keeps me coming back are the unique and energetic women who are doing such great things in the wine world. It was so inspiring to talk to women in winemaking, marketing, sales, and education. It was fantastic to hear what's happening in India and Turkey, places not talked about much on the wine scene. I learned so much!"

RITU SINGHAL, INDIA

(Publisher Fine Wine & Champagne India and Liquid)

Well done Senay! I must congratulate you and your team for such a successful show. I had three engaging days at the Women in Wine Expo connecting, sharing and learning from lovely wine ladies from across several continents. I was delighted to hear that many were inspired by my India presentation and my insights into the market for wine in India.

I am SO HAPPY that I was able to attend and meet so many absolutely inspirational women. To hear the same struggle and have women come together to support one another was exactly what I hoped for. “

Thank you again for the outstanding and perfect organization of this fruitful event including getting in contact with business women from different wine industrial sectors facing the same challenges. I absolutely loved the pleasant and familiar atmosphere, the lively discussion, the exchange between the participants, and last but not least the wonderful places we visited. All the speeches were very engaging, pertinent and enlightening. Personally, I took a lot of new insides/perspectives and potential cooperation out of this event. In short: Senay’s work is very noble and impactful. The world needs more communities like the one she was able to build.”

I had a great time attending WIWE 2023 in London, a fantastic experience connecting with women from different countries and cultures with the same passion and enthusiasm. Therefore, I will definitely attend the WIWE 2024 because I want to be part of this community to share our experiences, support each other in our wine journeys and get inspired. Looking forward to welcome everyone in Portugal!

VIDYA NARASIMHAN, UNITED KINGDOM

(Wine consultant)

The Women in Wine Expo was brilliant in getting women in wine across the globe together - there was a lot of networking, but also an instant significant bonding over common issues and ideas- eg. inadequate representation of women, the passion to give back / pay-it-forward within the industry. WIWE23 was inspirational in learning about how women are paving the way forward in the wine industry - with alternative packaging, making wine in Bordeaux after a career change etc. I was certainly motivated to share my goals for the next year and to take steps towards achieving those goals.”

ZOFIA DALKOWSKA, UNITED KINGDOM

Women in Wine Expo is a fantastic opportunity to connect with passionate, ambitious and charismatic wine-loving women from all over the world. I had a lot of fun at the London 2023 edition, made friendships that I hope will be long-lasting and I learnt a lot too. I really hope I will be able to make it next year!”

ÁNGELES SÁNCHEZ, MEXICO

(Wine consultant and Tequila expert)

“Dear ladies from the wine industry of the world: I had recently the opportunity to attend the WIWE in London and for me, it was like a dose of vitamins to see how great is the wine industry with women involved in it, to share wonderful moments with all of them, different countries and cultures but all together sharing the same passion for wine, for this beautiful universal language. Senay and her team made all the possible to make us feel so happy, welcome and important. If you want to connect with professional women from overseas I really recommend to participate in WIWE next year!”

“WIWE was a great way to connect with wine ladies from all 5 continents and feel inspired by their experiences in this industry. Also was very refreshing to talk about including everyone in the wine business – women and men – to have a more just and balanced wine future. Congratulations WIWE!”

Having attended the Women in Wine Expo in Georgia has been life changing. Seeing so many women from all different walks of life who are successfully running their own businesses regardless of difficulties that they are facing, gave me an "I can do it" attitude now. Since being back in  South Africa I have now created a wine blog called Soulsista Wine Diaries where I will journaling about my trip to Georgia as well as about South African wines and wineries. I am also currently studying  a short course with the  University of Cape Town called the business of wine, in order to better assist me in running my own company soon.
